Rail transit Ziyang line starts before the end of the year

On September 4, Chengdu Rail Construction Management Company announced that the rail transit Ziyang Line (hereinafter referred to as Ziyang Line) will start construction before the end of December 2020 and is expected to open to trial operation at the end of 2024. The Ziyang line is about 38.69 kilometers long, and the maximum train speed is 140 kilometers per hour.

The rail transit Ziyang Line is an express rail transit line connecting Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Tianfu International Airport New City and Ziyang City. The line starts at Futian Station of Chengdu Rail Transit Line 18 on the south side of Tianfu International Airport and ends at Ziyangbei Station of Chengdu-Chongqing Passenger Train. It adopts a combination of ground, elevated and underground laying methods. The maximum train speed is 140 kilometers per hour, and 160 kilometers per hour are reserved.

The line is about 38.69 kilometers long and has 7 stations, including 3 elevated stations (Futian Station, Lujiazui Station, Linkong Economic Zone Station) and 4 underground stations (Jiaozi Avenue Station, Changhong Square Station, Bao Taidadao Station and Ziyang North Station), the estimated total investment for the entire line is about 13.384 billion yuan. According to the current progress of various work, it is planned to start construction before the end of December 2020, and it is expected to open to trial operation by the end of 2024.
