Rail transit tickets should be interconnected across the entire network


According to the "New Regulations", rail transit refers to public rail transit systems such as subways and light rails. Tianjin rail transit tickets are divided into single journey tickets, storage value tickets, time-counted tickets, QR codes, bank cards, mobile phone PAY, and virtual tickets based on biometric technology. To ensure the convenience of passengers using tickets, rail transit tickets should be interconnected across the entire network.


In terms of fares, the "New Regulations" stipulate that rail transit fare policies should be implemented in accordance with the fare policies formulated by the municipal price authority and announced in prominent locations at the stations. When there are multiple travel routes between the departure station and the destination station, the rail transit operating unit shall charge the fare according to the shortest path of the line network.

The "New Regulations" also subdivided the policies on fare discounts and free rides that are of great concern to the public. Students from primary and secondary schools, technical secondary schools, technical and vocational schools in Tianjin can apply for student tickets. Students bring their valid certificates (ID card, household registration book), student ID card or a certificate letter issued by the school to the station for processing, and enjoy a 30% discount when using the ticket. Elderly people over 60 years old (including 60 years old) can apply for a senior citizen ticket. Elderly people between 60 and 69 years old bring a valid certificate (ID card, household registration book) or "Tianjin Special Treatment Card for Senior Citizens" (green) to the station to apply, and enjoy a 20% discount when using the ticket; 70 years old (including 70 years old) The above-mentioned senior citizens bring their valid certificates (ID card, household registration book) or "Tianjin Special Treatment Card for Senior Citizens" (purple red) to the station for processing, and enjoy a 30% discount on fares when using them.

For passengers who do not apply for and use tickets in accordance with regulations, the "New Regulations" also stipulate that they should go to the station customer service center to pay the fare according to the following regulations. When the ticket used by the passenger is not enough to pay the actual fare at the station that arrives, the difference in fare must be paid according to the fare of the single ticket. Passengers using stored-value tickets can use the gate to check the ticket normally after recharging the ticket Outbound. Passengers who enter the station with a valid ticket through the gates of the station must pass the check-in time limit (240 minutes) restricted by the rail transit operating unit to leave the station. An overtime fee will be charged in accordance with the minimum single ticket fare amount.
